PEAK: Professional Development, Engagement, Advancement, and Knowledge

The 2025 PEAK Conference is a post-secondary professional development conference for Wyoming admissions representatives and Wyoming high school counselors to network, collaborate, and share knowledge and experiences. It is a day and half conference that will have engaging sessions and multiple opportunities to network with your colleagues across the state. 

WAO is excited to host the PEAK Conference in Laramie, WY again this year! 

Location: The University of Wyoming Conference Center connected to the Hilton Garden Inn

Date: December 4th - 5th

Continuing Education Units (CEU's) will be offered for full participation in the conference.  

Please note, the room block room rate at the Hilton Garden Inn in Laramie is only good until November 19th, so please register no later than that date as there is a limited amount of rooms for that rate.

Hotel Support for Wyoming High School Counselors 

Each year, Wyoming Admissions Officers (WAO) is committed to ensuring that educators across our rural state have equitable access to professional development. To help reduce travel barriers and encourage statewide participation in our PEAK Conference, WAO proudly covers hotel accommodations for the first 10 registered Wyoming high school counselors or staff members.

This support is made possible through generous sponsorships and WAO Board funding, and it directly helps counselors—many of whom travel long distances—take part in essential training, collaboration, and networking opportunities.

Once a registration form is submitted, WAO will reach out to the first 10 eligible registrants with detailed instructions on next steps for securing their hotel room. We are grateful for our partners and sponsors who make this important investment in Wyoming’s students and schools possible.
